Program Volunteers
Do you love hands-on science and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? Become a Program Volunteer and help us bring environmental and STEAM education to life!
- Assist with educational programs, including outreach events, planetarium shows, school functions, and more.
- Support educators in delivering engaging, hands-on environmental and STEAM activities.
- Interact with program participants, answering questions and fostering a love of learning.
- Assist during special events, school programs, summer camps, and other educational initiatives.
Clean-Up Volunteers
Are you passionate about keeping our environment pristine and beautiful? Become a Clean-Up Volunteer and help us maintain the natural beauty of Sturgeon City and its surrounding areas!
- Participate in scheduled clean-up events, helping to remove litter and debris from our grounds, trails, and waterways.
- Assist with general upkeep and beautification projects around the center.

Special Event Volunteers

Photography Volunteers

- Photograph special events, programs, and activities at Sturgeon City.
- Capture high-quality images for marketing and publicity purposes.
- Ensure all photographs are properly labeled and organized.
- Adhere to Sturgeon City’s photography guidelines and policies.

Teen Volunteers
Are you 15-17 years old, passionate about the environment and STEAM, and love working with kids? Become a Teen Volunteer and gain valuable experience while making a difference!
- Assist educators in leading activities and engaging attendees.
- Supervise attendees and ensure their safety.
- Help with setup, cleanup, and other logistical tasks.
- Be a positive role model for younger attendees.
Group Volunteers
Does your group or organization want to get involved in the community? Volunteer groups of 8 or more can work together on a large activity or assist with multiple projects.
